Introduction to Photography

In this class students’ will learn how to take properly exposed photographs. We will discuss the Manual mode of the DSLR in its entirety as well as touch on the Aperture and Shutter Priority modes. Students will be taught the meaning of Shutter Speed, Aperture (fstop) and ISO and what role each of them plays in obtaining a properly exposed image.

 

We will also touch on different Metering Modes, White Balance, Image Quality Formats and tons of tips and trick you may have not known about. So please be ready to take notes and have your questions ready.

 

Although this is an introduction class it is open to any skill level.

 

 

Advanced Photography

In this 90 minute class students will learn how to use reflectors to brighten up those portions of a person’s face that are normally hidden beneath shadows. We will use white and gold reflectors and we will see the different ways each reflectors enhances the amount of light on a person’s face.

 

You should bring a model too this class and also you should purchase your own reflectors.

 

Children are welcomed models!

 

The Pre-Requisite for this class is: Introduction to Photography. YOU MUST TAKE THE INTRO CLASS BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE ADVANCED COURSE.

 

Digital Media Arts

This is a one on one Digital Media course, which can range from one hour to three hours depeding on the time framed you registered for. In this course we will introduce the student to a post production program, either Adobe Photoshop or Light Room (you choose the program when you register), we will go over the basics of the program, the different tools and their use and which program would best fit your need. 

 

Students must purchase the program before registering for the class, if not purchsed you can download the 30 day trail version from Adobe.com.
